Through my art, I comment on the present by evoking the past.

I capture moments in peoples lives, often focusing on my love of history, fashion and the unusual. By placing modern technology out of context, I am seeking to increase our awareness of how much our lives have changed (and not always for the better).

I like my paintings to provoke an emotional reaction, whether it’s a sense of nostalgia, self-reflection or humour. In the end, what matters to me most of all is that the final image is compelling – and I hope you love them as much as I love creating them.
