The power of colour has a large influence on my art making process. I like to let the paint, the random textures and lines take me somewhere.

I don’t like to follow one idea right through to the end….like life a painting can change direction in an instant and the quick drying of acrylics means I can paint layer upon layer.

I put all of my emotion onto a canvas, in this way each painting relates to a part of my subconscious, or a feeling I’ve had at some point in time.

I have always found drawing and painting a calming influence in my life since a young child, it takes me to my happy place and helps my thoughts process in my mind.

Abstract painting is my true passion, where I feel I can express myself the most.

I can’t imagine my days without the balance of creativity in them, my hope is that people enjoy my paintings as much as I enjoy creating them.
